Emergency landing on golf driving range
A small experimental airplane made an emergency landing at the Islewood Driving Range at Herndon and Milburn Tuesday afternoon. The plane took off around 4 pm from the Sierra Sky Park and developed engine problems, The pilot, 70-year-old Theodore Nickel, managed to land the plane on the driving range and get out unharmed.
